The names of the finalists of the competition will be announced at the "Flower Jam" landscape conference

The names of the finalists of the “Flower Jam” - 2020 Open International Competition of Urban Landscape Design of the Government of Moscow will be announced on February 8. The list of finalists whose projects are to be implemented this summer at Moscow’s public spaces will be announced at the Second International Landscape “Flower Jam” Conference at the Aptekarskiy Ogorod Botanical Garden.

This year’s competition theme was “ Improvement of the urban ecology and social climate of the metropolis” and there were 228 projects received from landscape designers, architects and students of specialized universities from 15 countries - Russia, Italy, Egypt, Germany, Finland, Poland, Hong Kong, Brazil, the UK , Georgia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan.

The Expert Council of the Competition chaired by Andy Stegen (one of the best British landscape designers) will consider all the projects submitted to the competition and select the best. The face-to-face, in-person meeting of the Expert Council will be held as part of the International Landscape “Flower Jam” Conference at the Aptekarskiy Ogorod Botanical Garden.

Projects that reached the final of the competition will be implemented in Moscow’s public spaces - squares, boulevards, pedestrian zones, territories of art clusters - this summer. To select the winners in each nomination, the finished projects will be evaluated by the competent international jury.

The list of finalists will be announced on February 8 at 10.00 am.
